REAL CLASSIC ROCK!

Seven years after the release of their last studio album Rockwall and two years after the acclaimed live release Live In Europe (2023), the band is celebrating with their fifth studio album, marking a double milestone – musically and with pride in 30 years of band history.

Founding members Michael Sommerhoff and Peter Wagner, together with the new additions Tom Frerich (keyboards), Jens Heisterhagen (bass), and Dirk Sengotta (drums), present a powerful work that captures PILEDRIVER’s joy of playing and musical identity in full force.

First Nations Rock combines energetic classic rock anthems, melodic hooks, and heartfelt ballads into a multifaceted overall picture that feels timeless, while still reflecting current themes.

The album was produced by Stefan Kaufmann (Accept, U.D.O.) and Michael Sommerhoff, with Martin “Mattes” Pfeiffer (U.D.O., Red Raven) handling the mix and mastering – the result: a powerful, transparent, and punchy sound that perfectly complements the band’s signature style.

As a first taste, the tracks “We Will Be Rockin’ On” and “Ridin'” have been released.

In addition, PILEDRIVER has produced their own music videos for all 14 songs on the album, which were also filmed at the Börse Wuppertal.

The videos will be gradually released on the official PILEDRIVER YouTube channel starting at the end of September 2025, accompanying the album campaign well into 2026.

On December 13, 2025, PILEDRIVER will celebrate the official album release show at the Börse Wuppertal – a venue with symbolic significance, having often hosted unforgettable rock nights. This exclusive live show will not only showcase the raw energy of the new songs but also take the audience on a journey through three decades of the band’s history.
